ONDM 2027 Motto:

Building the All-Optical Fabric for Sustainable AI

Overview

The ONDM Demo Session provides a unique, interactive forum for showcasing innovative prototypes, proof-of-concept implementations, and experimental results that go beyond static presentations. We encourage demos that highlight open-source platforms, interoperability, and real-time network control.

Accepted demo papers will be published at IEEE Xplore and the IFIP Open Digital Library.

Topics of Interest

Consistent with the ONDM technical tracks, the scope of the demo session includes, but is not limited to:

Submission Instructions

Proposals should be submitted as a short paper (max. 3 pages), following the IEEE conference template. The submission must include:

  • Technical content: A description of the research problem, the proposed solution, and its novelty compared to existing work.
  • Demo implementation: A clear explanation of what will be shown. Will there be hardware on-site? A remote connection to a testbed?
  • Interactivity: Describe how the audience will interact with the demo (e.g., "users can change traffic parameters via a GUI and observe real-time rerouting").
  • Equipment needs: A brief list of logistical requirements.
Submissions will be accepted through EDAS ONDM 2027 Demo Track.

Evaluation Criteria

Submissions will be peer-reviewed by the Demo Program Committee based on:

πŸ’‘
Innovation
